Kim is a composer, pianist, and organist based in the San Diego area. She has had 19 years of piano performance experience, 9 years of organ performance experience, 14 years of violin performance experience, 8 years of flute performance experience and 2 years of classical voice training. She specializes in the western classical tradition and improvisation and has a strong foundation in music theory. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in music composition from the University of Redlands, Conservatory of Music and has studied classical music abroad in Austria. She has studied under renowned musicians such as Anthony Suter, Alison Luedecke, Andre Meyers, Sara Andon, Philip Hoch, Donald Brinegar, Sakura Tsai, Ethan Haman, and Christa Rakich. Kim has also had experience performing in a plethora of orchestral, wind, vocal, and chamber ensembles.
