Marty has been playing violin since he was 7 years old. He was concertmaster in his school orchestras and later in community theater orchestras, in productions such as Oklahoma, Carousel, and A Funny Thing Happened on The Way To The Forum. Privately, Marty plays chamber music trios and quartets such as Haydn, Beethoven, and Mozart. Marty also possesses an unusual combination of skills working with children – as a credentialed teacher he taught grades 4-8 in public school for 5 years, as an attorney he represented more than 1000 children in court and wrote 3 books about children and the law, and he has 7 grandsons. Most of all, Marty loves teaching children how to play the violin
