Meet Matt G, your dedicated music teacher with over two decades of passion and expertise in piano and other “rock band” instruments, songwriting, and recording. Born and raised in the vibrant music scene of North County San Diego, Matt's journey has led him full circle back to where it started: the practice room. His commitment to his craft shines through with 7 years of teaching private music lessons in-person or online. Matt honed his teaching skills at one of the top music studios in North County San Diego. While imparting various techniques, music theory, and practice habits through over 10,000 lessons, Matt has helped many students overcome their bad habits and mistakes. He continues to steer his students towards their music goals and inspiring new ones to bloom. But music isn't Matt's only passion. When he's not immersed in practicing or teaching, you can find him enjoying the great outdoors, camping with his family, or indulging in lively discussions with friends about his favorite movie and book series, The Lord of the Rings.
