Ronica N.

My name is Ronica and I am a classically trained violinist based in San Diego, CA. I began studying violin at the age of four, and after 13 years of dedicated practice, music has become an integral part of my life. By my freshman year of high school, I had completed all 10 levels of MTAC’s Certificate of Merit, earning state recognition for my performances. My passion for performance has taken me to international stages, including the Burgos International Music Festival in Spain, where I spent two weeks in 2024 training with distinguished professors and performing solo, chamber, and orchestral works. Currently, I serve as concertmaster of the Del Norte High School Chamber Orchestra and am also the DNHS Orchestra President. Beyond performing, I am passionate about music education. I founded Jumpstart to Strings, a student-led initiative providing personalized string lessons to local elementary and middle school students. Alongside my personal teaching experience, this program has allowed me to develop four years of teaching experience, helping young musicians grow in skill and confidence. In my teaching, I prioritize creating an enjoyable and engaging learning experience while developing strong technical foundations. I collaborate with students to hand-select repertoire—assigning pieces that enhance their technique and musicality while also incorporating music they love to play. My goal is to instill not only strong fundamentals but also a lifelong passion for music in each student. I look forward to sharing the joy of music with you!

Jordan H.

Jordan is a guitarist, bassist, songwriter, producer, and music educator based in California. Growing up in a small but vibrant community, he spent his early years writing songs, playing in local bands, and recording music with friends — a DIY spirit that grew into a career as a multi-instrumentalist, live performer, session musician, producer, and engineer. Along the way, Jordan studied music production and performance at Berklee College of Music and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, experiences that deepened his technical skills and expanded his creative approach. Today, he collaborates with artists across genres, performs regularly, and helps musicians bring their ideas to life in the studio, carrying that real-world experience over into his teaching. Jordan’s teaching style is laidback and highly personalized, shaped by his years not just as a musician, but also as a professional snowboarding coach. Having taught students of all ages on the mountain, he knows how to break down complex skills, make learning fun, and adapt his approach to each individual’s goals and learning style. Whether you’re picking up a Piano, guitar or bass for the first time, writing and recording your own music, diving into home production, or learning to do it all, Jordan’s lessons are designed to keep you motivated, inspired, and growing into a confident, well-rounded artist. His goal is simple: to help every student discover their voice, build confidence, and connect with music in a meaningful way.
